KamCha has submitted “Hong Kong-style Milk Tea Making Technique” to the Intangible Culture Heritage of Hong Kong which has successfully been inscribed onto the list of ICH of Hong Kong in 2014 since we have put more effort in promoting the traditional culture of Hong Kong-style Milk Tea in recently years.

 

 

In Hong Kong, we love to drink a Hong Kong-style milk tea, but it takes a lot of hard work and skills to make. It’s a dying art, and not many young people are learning how to do it. In local Cha Chaan Teng, already facing a labour shortage, struggle to hire tea masters. Thereupon, KamCha was starting to hold a Hong Kong-style Milk Tea Class for more people to gain-in-depth the traditional culture of Hong Kong Milk Tea and Cha Chaan Teng in 2017.
