“The Hong Kong Awards for Industries” scheme is fully supported by the HKSAR Government and is an annual eminent event in Hong Kong’s trade and industrial sector. The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong is honoured to be the organiser of the “Equipment and Machinery Design” (formerly “Machinery and Machine Tools Design”) competition in the past 25 years. The objective of the competition is to encourage the upgrading of the design of equipment and machinery in Hong Kong so as to enhance competitiveness, and to give recognition to outstanding products.
The Business for Social Good Outstanding Awards, the first award of its kind in Hong Kong, launched by Hong Kong Foundation, is an attempt to identify local examples of creating social and environmental benefits through profit-making businesses, Through this award programme, it aspire to advocate for new and better ways to deliver products and services, meet market needs, nurture productive enterprises and build a progressive society.
The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva is one of the biggest events in the world to be exclusively devoted to inventions and is now in its 48th year. Held annually in spring, the exhibition brings about 1,000 contestants from dozens nations to compete for prizes, with their new inventions, technologies and researches. Meanwhile, technical professionals, intellectual property experts, financial experts from multinational investment banks, popular international media and thousands of visitors will also be on hand to participate. Judges from European countries will communicate with the exhibitors face to face and the awards will be divided into gold, silver, bronze and award certificate.
